A section of members of the executive and the legislature have expressed their support for new chief justice Martha Koome despite the current tiff pitting the executive and the judiciary. They temporarily buried the hatchet and attended a special luncheon hosted in her honor after taking charge of the judiciary. Among those who attended the luncheon were players from civil service, human rights as well as various government departmental heads as George Maringa reports.
