Karim Khan sworn in as ICC's Chief Prosecutor at the Hague taking over from Fatou Bensouda of Gambia

Deputy President William Ruto lawyer Karim Khan has been sworn in as the new chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. The 51-year-old replaces outgoing prosecutor Fatou Bensouda of Gambia with several probes to tackle, among them Palestinian and Israeli conflict as well as alleged war crimes by the US in Afghanistan.
