The war pitting the Executive and the Judiciary has escalated after the 2017 general election. During his Madaraka day speech in Kisumu, president Uhuru Kenyatta blamed the judiciary for heavy losses running into billions of shillings due to the many unfavorable rulings against the executive. But in Maraga's statement today, he sought to turn the tables on President Kenyatta.
