After many years of border conflict between Uganda and Kenya over Kenyan fishermen trespassing into fish-rich waters of Uganda, the Kenyan government introduced a cage fish farm in port Victoria in Busia. The now thriving entity has begun facing fish theft from fishermen who prey on the cages at night and steal thousands of fish.
