Matiang’i issues two-week ultimatum for the old KTDA directors to move out of office

In a bid to reform the troubled tea sector, the government has vowed to work only with the newly elected Kenya Tea Development Authority (KTDA) directors. Cabinet secretary ministry of interior dr. Fred Matiang’i has now issued a two-week ultimatum for the old tea directors be moved out of office. The move has been welcomed by farmers in Embu.
