Key meeting between top leaders fails to take place at State House as Handshake takes an ugly turn

It was a low key third anniversary of the much publicized handshake between president Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga, as a critical meeting initially planned at state house, Nairobi, between the duo and other leaders supporting their building bridges initiative flopped. Tonight, KTN senior political reporter Murimi Mwangi tells us about the confusion that dogged what could be the handshake’s last anniversary before a referendum later in the year, and explains why tough supremacy battles among Kenyatta and Odinga allies could derail the BBI process.
