the national cereals and produce board is confident over the country’s present food situation, noting that Kenya has over 200,000 bags of maize in its strategic grain reserves. the board is however concerned over a hefty loan of seven billion shillings it must settle or risk jeopardizing the operations of the state-owned entity.
