Embu-Israel MoU: Israel partners with Kenya farmers on an exchange program meant to boost farming

Farmers in Embu county are set to reap major benefits with the help of Israeli agriculture technology following an MoU between Israel embassy and the county government. Speaking during the launch of an agri fair held at the university of Embu, Israel ambassador Oded joseph says that over the years, Israeli farmers have built a reputation as the most efficient in food production worldwide, and his government was willing to share this knowledge with Kenyan farmers. Embu county has seen an explosion in agricultural growth, particularly in dairy farming, macadamia, and other next?generation agricultural techniques.
