In a bid to ensure holistic standards in the construction industry, the national construction authority has disclosed plans to streamline water projects to be in tandem with building code regulations. The built environment watchdog will now inspect plumping and water piping systems of all construction work countrywide. Leaders in water and sanitation have backed the move as one that will address water shortage and supply inconsistencies as well as cartels in the important life commodity.
