Nominated senator Isaac Mwaura has rubbished disloyalty charges filed against him by the jubilee party. Mwaura who appeared before the party's disciplinary committee today said he does not trust the committee to give him a fair hearing. Mwaura is being accused of supporting the newly-formed Tanga Tanga allied united democratic alliance, with his accusers seeking his expulsion. The nominated legislator and his witness Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa said the proceedings were discriminatory and meant to intimidate party members allied to deputy president William Ruto. he will know his fate within 14 days.
