On February 4th 2020, the country woke up to the news that Kenya's second president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi had died. His death evoking fond memories of his 24-year reign with his love for education as well as mzee moi's generosity topping the list. One year after his death, his memories are still fresh in the minds of those who had the privilege of interacting with him.
