Kenya records 141 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours

Turning over to the covid?19 situation in the country, and 141 people have tested positive for covid 19 over the last 24 hours. The tests were done on a sample size of 3,571. The new numbers have raised the positivity rate to 3.9% with the total cases of infections now standing at 100,193. The number of recoveries over the last 24 hours is 207 with 192 from home based care and 15 from various hospitals. The total number of recoveries is now 83,625. Unfortunately, 6 patients have succumbed to the virus raising the death toll to 1,750. Patients admitted in the intensive care unit are 25, with 14 under ventilator support, 10 under supplemental oxygen and 1 under observation.
