Tonight, focus shifts to the country’s more than 2,000 members of county assemblies, after the independent electoral and boundaries commission transmitted copies of the draft BBI constitutional amendment bill, 2020, to speakers of the 47 county assemblies for debate. IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said an interim verification of data captured as at Tuesday last week confirmed that the BBI initiative has been supported by 1.14 million registered voters.
