High voltage political differences took center stage during the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an international airport in Nakuru. A section of local leaders accused governor lee Kinyanjui of sidelining them in the planned construction of the airport. Nakuru senator Susan Kihika, Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and woman representative Liza Chelule accused the governor of leaving them out despite having played a key role in lobbying for the project.
