Let us now look at the latest covid?19 statistics in the country as announced by the ministry of health . . .Kenya has today recorded 404 new positive cases, bringing the caseload to 92,459. The 404 positive cases were part of a        cumulative 4,878 samples tested in the last 24 hours. Out of 404 positive cases, 40 were foreigners, with the rest being Kenyan residents. At the same time, 527 more people have recovered from the disease, 408 of them from home?based care while 119 were discharged from various health facilities. Sadly, 11 more deaths were reported over the last 24 hours raising the national death toll to 1,604. Currently, 871 covid19 patients are admitted in different hospitals countrywide, with 46 of them being in the intensive care units.
