Kenya-Ethiopia Ties: Uhuru and Ethiopian PM officiated new border post set to bolster trade ties

Cross border trade between Kenya and Ethiopia is set to increase after president Uhuru Kenyatta launched a new one stop border post in Moyale, in northern Kenya. Speaking to residents of Moyale town on the Ethiopian side of the border, the president affirmed his administration was keen on bolstering trade ties with the Ethiopian government in the roll out of joint infrastructure projects. The president added that more focus will be placed on easing trade barriers like non?tariff barriers to help bring down the cost of business.
