PPEs Nightmare: Kemsa awaits for cabinet approval as Government faulted over sluggishness

It once again appears that even as doctors, clinical officers and nurses suffer and lose their lives due to lack of protective equipment, it is actually the government that remains adamant to solve the problem after all. This comes after it emerged that despite Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe’s request that Kemsa starts releasing PPEs from its warehouses, the cabinet is yet to approve or grant the request even as the medics’ strike entered day three.
