Nick Mwendwa faces Parliamentary Committee to shade light on Chan funds

Fkf President Nick Mwendwa has denied involvement in a scandal involving Kenya’s flopped bid to host the 2018 Chan competition. Mwendwa who appeared before the national assembly’s public accounts committee was put to task over his role in the scandal that cost Kenyans more than 155 million shillings after the country was eventually stripped of hosting rights. Three companies, preselected by Caf were reportedly awarded tenders without following procurement laws. The Fkf boss was at the time the chair of Chan’s local organizing committee.
