The Kenya medical supplies agency will lose 2.3 billion shillings by selling the dead stock bought at 7.1 billion shillings, that has been lying at their warehouse. The directive to sell to counties has come from the health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe, at a time when parastatals are cautious when engaging with Kemsa. Kagwe has also expressed a different view regarding the covid?19 vaccine by Pfizer.
