Kenya National Bureau of Statistics will incorporate new forms of data collection like phone interviews even as it tries to move away from traditional sources due to the coronavirus outbreak. Incoming director general, Macdonald Obudho says the bureau had a difficult time compiling data at the height of the pandemic but increased usage of technology will help address the problem. Obudho takes over from Zachary Mwangi who was at the helm for 8 years.
