DEFYING MAGOHA: Some private school heads ignore order, Parents fear pupils may not sit exams

14th October, 2020

Parents and managers of private schools are now questioning the directive by education CS, professor George Magoha, when he asked schools not to send home learners due to non?payment of fees. This is after pupils at Mary Immaculate Academy Jogoo road, Nairobi, were barred from entering class after they failed to pay the entire second term fees. Parents termed the decision by the school to demand that they pay a whole 20,100 shillings in full before their children enter class as insensitive.
