President Uhuru commends KDF for their role in the renewal of key infrastructure projects

President Uhuru Kenyatta has commended the Kenya defence forces for their role in the renewal of key infrastructure projects across the country. The president thanked KDF for the successful rehabilitation of the Nairobi Nanyuki railway line, the ongoing works on the Nakuru Kisumu railway and the renewal of the port of Kisumu. The head of state spoke today at the KDF's recruits training school in Eldoret, during a pass out parade. As part of the elaborate ceremony attended by the entire top military command led by the chief of the Kenya defence forces general Robert Kibochi, the commander in chief awarded outstanding performers during the 8-month training.
