Matatu Operators put on notice over flaunting Covid-19 rules

9th September, 2020

The Ministry of Health has today softened its stand on political gatherings saying leaders should have meetings with controlled crowds. While giving the daily Covid?19 update, health Cas Dr Rashid Aman, also called on the Public Transport sector not to flout regulations put in place, by carrying excess passengers and those not wearing masks, as their laxity will jeorpadize gains in the fight against covid?19. This comes as Kenya recorded 104 new Covid?19 infections in the last 24 hours.
