Tenants facing evictions over arrears In Pipeline, Embakasi

About 50 Residents Of A Rental Block In Pipeline, Embakasi Are Staring At A Possible Eviction And Auction Of Their Property Over Rent Arrears. Their Plight Is Similar To That Facing Many Nairobi Residents Who Do Not Own Their Own Homes But Instead Live In Rental Houses. The Arrival Of COVID 19 In The Country Has Made Life Unbearable For Many Nairobians Who Are Now Forced To Struggle For Their Daily Livelihood. Many Nairobians Do Not Believe The Recently Released Report By The Kenya National Bureau Of Statistics That Ranked Nairobi As A County With The Least Number Of People Living In Poverty In Kenya.
