Kihika and Murkomen sue Jubilee Party and Raphael Tuju

The High Court has extended orders stopping Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka from removing Narok Senator Ledama Olekina as chairman of the County Public Accounts and Investments Committee.  

The case will be mentioned on 9th June, for inter parties hearing. meanwhile, Senator James Orengo representing KANU party says the petition by Senators Kipchumba Murkomen and Susan Kihika challenging the Jubilee?Kanu post-election coalition deal that resulted in their removal from senate leadership positions should be determined by the political parties disputes tribunal. Orengo said the case can only be referred to the high court after that.
