Makongeni residents in darkness after KPLC removed transformers over alleged non-payment of bills

Makongeni Residents Are An Unhappy Lot, After Kenya Power & Lightning Company Disconnected Their Power Supply And Removed Electricity Transformers From The Area Last Wednesday. According To The Residents, The Removal Of The Transformers Was As A Result Of A Few People Who Failed To Pay Their Electricity Bills. Area Member Of Parliament George Aladwa Now Wants KPLC To Have An Open Forum To Listen To The Cries Of The Residents.
