Kenya National Union of Teachers has called on all teachers to boycott the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum.
Speaking during the 23rd Annual General Meeting of Koibatek Branch Executive Committee, KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion called on teachers defy the new curriculum and revert to the 8?4?4 system of education. Sossion said the new system is marred with confusion and is not being rolled out in good faith.
Meanwhile, ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi while speaking at the Women League Convention in Maua, in Meru wants the Education CS Magoha to engage in dialogue with KNUT to find a lasting solution to the impasse.
