Alibaba pact with tourism ministry

In an agreement signed at the computing conference in Hangzhou, between Alibaba cloud of Alibaba group and the ministry of tourism and wildlife – the company’s technology will be deployed to support the Kenya wildlife protection project. The first project in Tsavo east and west national parks, will incorporate animal tracking sensors, infra?red trap cameras, wide?area drones and more. These will help in providing real?time data of movements and health of animals, which the platform will then analyze and alert the command center about potential risks, such as illegal poaching and human?animal conflicts
