Five Chinese nationals will spend some time in police custody pending investigations after they were nabbed with what Kenyan authorities have termed as items likely to pose a threat to national security.
The five were arrested in Lavington at dawn with an assortment of military equipment including uniforms, walkie-talkies, tear gas canisters, military boots, smoke detectors, and laptops. One suspect formerly worked for the SGR project but had his work permit canceled.
