Some members of parliament have begun collecting signatures to impeach treasury cabinet secretary henry Rotich over the importation of contraband sugar in 2017.

led by Kimilili legislator Didmas Barasa the lawmakers also accuse Rotich of alleged involvement in the recently unearthed Ruaraka land scandal. The MPs claim to have already collected 96 signatures so far.
