Drama expected in the national assembly during debate on a motion to approve appointments to PSC

13th February, 2018

Drama is expected in the national assembly during debate on a special motion to approve the appointment of members to the parliamentary service commission.  Jubilee party leadership has directed members to endorse all its four nominees -   Senator Beth Mugo, Adan Keynan, Naomi Shaban and Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, despite strong reservations from Jubilee MPs last December.  However, the Jubilee leadership in the national assembly is scheming to kick out two nominees selected by the opposition to join the commission.
