The Turkana and Pokot communities have now pledged to bury the hatchet and stop further hostilities in a bid to create harmony in the Kerio triangle. Leaders from the two communities, as well as others from the larger rift valley region, vowed to end cattle rustling that has been the cause of animosity between the two neighbors in the North Rift.
