Kilgoris Constituency first runners up Julius Sunkuli has gone to court to petition the election of Gideon Konchella as Member of Parliament. Mr Sunkuli said the election was marred by malpractices and ballot paper stuffing hence discrediting the poll as free and fair. Mr Sunkuli claiming the Constituency returning officer, IEBC staff and the police joined forces to manipulate the results to Mr Konchella's favour.
