The government has engaged global end to end satellite education service provider Yazmi, to deliver satellite enabled tablet computers to schools to help bridge the cost of internet and lack of infrastructure. As Kenya continues to roll out the free gadgets to schools in the country under the digital literacy program, lack of internet facilities in a majority of the rural public schools could dampen prospects of the program being successful.
