A dangerous trade involving private cars ferrying passengers on long distance without the legal approval appears to have infiltrated Kenya’s transport industry. The fleet of private cars posing as public service vehicles appears to have deep roots especially along the Eldoret - Nairobi highway and as Timothy Otieno reports, it appears these car owners are colluding with police to keep this illegal and dangerous ploy afloat.
