Hundreds of motorists and commuters from Ongata Rongai were stranded as others were held in traffic for hours following a protest over the operations of Ongata Rongai bound matatus. For the second time, students of Multimedia University blocked Magadi road protesting the death of a student in an accident on Sunday. Meanwhile, residents of Ongata Rongai took part in a walk from Rongai to the scene of the Sunday accident calling for sanity on the roads.
