19th September, 2016

Senior principal magistrate Martha Mutuku has allowed an application by the prosecution seeking an extension of one week to complete investigations on the three senior nock officials Francis Paul, Stephen Soi and Pius Ochieng. Orders for former treasurer Fridah Shiroya have been dispensed with after the investigating officer said that they completed investigations on her involvement on team Kenya in Rio. Her lawyer Braimoh Mburu told the court the prosecution intended to withdraw the charges against her and instead make her a witness. Both matters will be mentioned on the 27th of this month.
