Embattled Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua has accused his political rivals of being behind his impeachment woes. Gachagua who appeared before the senate pointed an accusing finger at his arch rival former Mathira MP Ephraim Maina claiming that he influenced the county assembly members and sponsored the impeachment motion. But Ephraim Maina who is said to be eyeing the Nyeri governorship dismissed Gachagua’s claims as baseless.
