A village in Nyamira has been gripped with shock and grief after a man hacked to death his two children in what is suspected to be ritual killing. The father, Bugesi Okero aged 25 was also lynched by irate villagers after they learnt about the heinous act. Nyamira south OCPD Rico Ngare says Okero was killed at around 3pm after he butchered the kids who have been under his care since his wife deserted their matrimonial home about six months ago. Police retrieved a kitchen knife that the man used to kill the children aged five and three.
