Four people were killed while five others suffered injuries when armed robbers struck Ntimaru town

Four people were killed while five others suffered injuries when armed robbers struck Ntimaru town in Kuria East. Two died on the spot while the other two died while receiving treatment in hospital. Among the dead was a prominent businessman in town Mwita Thomas. Witnesses say the robbers stole at least ksh 20,000 and a mobile phone from the slain businessman. Other witnesses say the thugs were wearing police jackets. Residents and leaders condemned the killing and urged the police to move fast and nab the criminals.
