A couple in Nyeri produce jackets that use motorbike mechanism to heat up jackets

Now, imagine electric jackets that are heatable and all one would need is to plug them into a power source. To fight off the cold weather at night, a new invention in Kenya’s Nyeri county now allows motorcycle riders to plug in the cables attached to the jacket to the motorcycle itself. This way the jacket gets warmer as you ride your bodaboda. KTN’s senior reporter Carol Nderi tells us how this works.
