President Uhuru Kenyatta supported the detention and prosecution of the politicians suspected of hat

Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta today supported the detention and prosecution of the politicians suspected of hate speech and incitement. Uhuru said no one is above the law and vowed that as president, he would do everything in his power to ensure Kenya is free from violence. Uhuru spoke in Belgium as the Kenyan opposition leaders warned that demonstrations would resume Monday because the coalition’s leaders were denied access at Pangani police station to visit deatined MPs. CORD leader Raila Odinga further accused the state of disrupting the IEBC talks and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission –NCIC of bias.
