The Kenya National Police Service has come under sharp criticism over the brutality meted on protestors in Nairobi yesterday. The independent policing oversight authority, the independent medico-legal unit, the Kenya national human rights commission and the united states government have all faulted police for using excessive force to disperse the crowds.
