William Ruto dismissed claims by Cyrus Jirongo that Jacob Juma once slapped the DP.

Reacting to comments by the politicians at the Jacob Juma requiem service Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto dismissed claims attributed to Cyrus Jirongo that the slain businessman once slapped the DP. During the service, the politician is said to have demanded that police question the Deputy President over the murder of jacob juma because, according to Jirongo, Juma had a confrontation with the dp at some point. Through his legal advisor Korir Singoei, ruto has said that Jirongo’s comments appear to imply that the DP had something to do with the murder. The DP has stated that he never had any physical contact with the slain businessman and therefore the allegations of Juma slapping him could never have arisen. Ruto says such claims are false, unfounded, malicious, mischievous and only serve to malign and besmirch his character.
