Sportpesa expects matches to be professionally organized so as to curb hooliganism

For a number of years now hooliganism has almost become the order of the day in the Kenya Premier League. In a new wake the KPL sponsors Sportpesa expects security officers and match stewards to be professionally organized during matches so as to help curb Hooliganism.This comes at a time that Sportpesa is expected to reinstate Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards sponsorship after having a positive meeting with the two clubs. The ministry of interior coordination and national government has sent a warning to hooligans that they will face the full wrath of the law if found guilty of causing disorder in stadia.The ministry’s principal secretary Micah Pkopus Powon, speaking during the one day workshop meant to draw measures to curb the vice in football matches and other sports said the government is also concerned at the levels of security in stadia.
