Several people injured as police teargas opposition CORD leaders on way to collapsed Huruma building

3rd May, 2016

The site of the collapsed Huruma building was turned into a combat zone as police engaged CORD supporters who had accompanied CORD leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula. Several people were injured in the chaos. This came on the fifth day of the ongoing rescue operations where 23 people have already been confirmed dead with 95 others still missing. And as KTN’s Murimi now reports, two brothers who own the building and three county officials have been arraigned in court over the tragedy.
