The site of the collapsed Huruma building was turned into a combat zone as police engaged CORD supporters who had accompanied CORD leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula. Several people were injured in the chaos. This came on the fifth day of the ongoing rescue operations where 23 people have already been confirmed dead with 95 others still missing.
