President Uhuru leads the country in burning Ivory as a sign towards the fight against poaching

Away from the tragic building collapse, all eyes around the world turned to Kenya as biggest Ivory tusks and Rhino horn stockpiles were set ablaze to send a message to the rest of the world to stop the trade in Ivory. The event led by President Uhuru Kenyatta was witnessed by Gabon president Ali Bongo and French Environment Minister Segolene Royal among other dignitaries. KTN Joy Doreen Biira reports
