Nakuru county government has launched investigations into the illegal dumping of lethal medical waste at the Gioto Dumpsite. Tonnes of syringes and used blood bags are part of the medical waste that exposes residents to health hazards. Nakuru county director for environment Kiogora Mureithi is accusing private hospitals in Nakuru town of the careless dumping ....he has promised dire consequences to those found guilty of the act.
