Kenya Film and Classification Board announce new broadcast guidelines

Parents may find the next story to be god news but broadcasters and advertisers have been left scratching their heads for solutions. The Kenya Film and Classification Board has announced new guidelines that could see betting game advertisements as well as political commentary shows banned from airing on national TV. According to the board, the guidelines seek to bring back "sanity" on the air waves. The guidelines will also see advertisements on condoms and alcohol aired past 10pm on TV stations.
