Matatu operators threatens to ground their vehicles and begin a strike over CBD parking

Matatu operators have threatened to ground their vehicles and begin a strike to protest yesterday’s move by Nairobi governor Dr. Evans Kidero to cancel their parking licenses for Nairobi’s central business district. The operators say they won’t relent until the decision is reversed.
